I came back to look at this one some more and you know I don't know what it is, but seeing the sadness depicted here somehow makes me feel better...if that makes sense

I made this piece right when my Grandma passed away in February. It really helped me to express my grief. I totally understand what you are saying. I think since your image is the base, you could probably feel the release with the tears. It was really hard for me to put up these few pieces that were all about my Grandma. I was always really close with her, and though she lived a long life, I still feel a void there. Art and writing definitely helps!

You're welcome. And I'm doing okay. Grandma was 95 years old, but it's never a good time to lose a loved one. I'm definitely feeling better this week.

Thank you so much. I'm sad too, so we'll be sad together. My grandmother passed away on Monday. Visitation tomorrow and funeral Saturday. I'm glad you like the piece and the tears.
