Thanks! I really try to make sure all this stuff looks 30 years old. That's how I remember comics looking so I want to recreate that feeling.

I didn't get to see it in the theater, but I do remember seeing the trailer in theaters. Does that count? No? Darn. I think I was in 4th grade, maybe. My memory is of some kind of project at school where we were cutting out bits from the newspaper for some reason and I remember this wonderful AoD painting on the cover of the Showcase. I folded it up, took it home with me and hung it on my wall. In this memory, I'm in my 4th grade home room. My memory may be fuzzy, though. I guess I could just look up when the movie came out and use maths to calculate when this event actually happened, but...you know me.

That sounds about right. I'm a little older than you, and I think I was in middle school (they called it "junior high" back then) when I saw it.
I still crack up when the skeleton army is retreating, and one of them stops and says "Let's get the hell out of here!" to the camera in a mock English accent. Classic.

Nice! A friend from work had a bootleg DVD of the show. It's a lot more fun than I would have expected it to be. I can only imagine that it's a thousand times better actually seeing it live. You'll love it. I have the soundtrack and some of those songs are just damn catchy. "Cabin In The Woods", especially.
