Nice to see the B-52's little brother every once in a while.

Excellent work.. These were the primary bomb aircraft at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage when we lived there from 1960 to 1963 ...

Nice project. Used to be around McDill. Always remembered the plane from that movie with Jimmy Stewart.

Thanks. They were the hottest thing in the sky in their day. Even fighters had a hard time keeping up with it.

Beautifully done! One of my fav postwar bombers! Boyne's "Airforce Eagles" had a great description of its operations.

Thanks.
The best book I have found for stories of flying the B-47 is: "Boeing B-47 Stratojet - True Stories of the Cold War in the Air" by Mark (Ed.) Natola.
The best book for the technical history and development of the airplane is: "Boeing's B-47 Stratojet" by Alwyn T. Lloyd.

Your work is totally photographic!! This is so beautiful, the clouds and the plane--I saw the B-47 once, in Seattle at the Boeing facility--this is just perfect--a capture of her in her "glory days!" Amazing work!
