so this is one of three new colored paper drawings i've done this weekend. i think i'll spread them out over the next few days before i go to san diego.anyhoo, here be perceptor. i did ihm on red paper. i like the way it turned out. sometimes its fun to use a paper where i'm limited to the extra colors i can put on it.

It was a fantastic idea to use coloured paper, and I'm sure it was interesting for you as an artist, too. The result is amazing, and I'm not just saying that because Percy is what I call my Autobot weakness, heh.
The shading and detail are stunning, as well. You've presented to us fans a side of Perceptor that is intense and strays away from how he is normally portrayed. I definitely like that.

I was recently thinking about these kinds of drawings you do, actually. I reread Dreamwave's G1 volume 2 the other day and thought "It'd be cool to see Ultra Magnus in his white-Prime self drawn like that!" Just a thought, lol.

Cool use of minimalism there. I agree, giving yourself limitations can also be fun. Kind of like writing Haiku with pictures.
