Digital painting on photomanipulation.These are my characters Emilia and Carmine. They're from a project I wrote a couple of years ago called "A portrait for Emilia". I love them very much, it was the first big book I was able to finish (over 100 000 words) and the characters mean a lot to me. One day I'll rewrite it to fit my current purposes, but for now I'll just upload some paintings of them.
(I have a HUGE photomanipulation i did with all the caracters of this book that I still want to paint. It's going to take a LONG time, but I'll try it later).

The blond one is called Emilia, she is a rich girl that likes to gather poets and artist around her and toy with them like they were peons in a chess game. The redhead is Carmine, her personal maid and (obviously) lover who is the only person she actually cares and respect (although it's not intirely mutual).
This is a scene after someone got hurt and Emilia is mad about how her plans went wrong while Carmine is conforting her. =]
