Description I was angry at seeing a lot of trees around the campus being cut off, when there was no need to do so.
But hey, who needs the extra squirrels anyway? Or, you know...oxygen?

our picture reflects your sadness really nicely - the sense of there being something "wrong" with the tree stump compared to the others... the light is like evening light emphasising further the end of something (the poor tree). lovely work - really like it

I completely agree, the way the background is so faded really accents the stump, and it just looks so melancholy and forlorn.

Thank you! The picture was taken near sunset and it looked almost magical in that clearing. And yes, I'm very sad that this once beautiful tree was just cut one day with no reason.
