My music teacher, a crazy and sweet gal, says: "It's not bad singing, it's just untapped potential." She's great. Now that I think about it, she's a bit like Dr. Kureha. XD
If I go to A-kon, it'll be my first anime convention! And I know awesome people who go that extra mile go to these things. There was a Brook cosplayer who could play Binks Sake on the violin!

Yeah. And the similarities don't stop there: I am so like Luffy; I'm a gluttonous idealist who loves to wear a hat (or headband on occasions), I'm not too bright, and my drawing sucks. Not only that, my little brother is like Ussop (he's a liar and a bit of a chicken, but I can tell that he's brave), my other brother is like Sanji (a bit of a cook, the girls love him because he's so cute), my mom is like Nami (a scary woman who usually controls the money), my dad is like Franky (an overlydramatic goofball who is the handy man of our family) and our pet dog is definitely Tony Tony Chopper.

And not only that, today I played Chopper to my music teacher's Hiriluk! She had a stomach ache and I went searching for some tums and I found my guidance counselor who gave me some mints, thinking that would help. I ran back with the mints and showed up at Mrs. Nooden, my teacher, and gave her the mints. She said she actually did have some tums, but, she took a mint anyway. As I left to give the mints back to Mr. Lily, my guidance counselor, she said; "You know I love you, right?" and I told her that I knew.

And when I said she was like Kureha, today, at Seussical rehearsal, she said that she's tough because she wants us to succeed(sp?).

Yeah, it is awesome! Speaking of which, I was able to get a fellow actor to play Binks Sake on the piano!

true o3o but since it's an anime they speak japanese. XD but I'm sure the different characters don't really have...accents.. like Osakan or anything. =< giving Brook an accent is just as bad as when they introduced Robin with a country accent just cuz she debuted with a cowgirl like hat in 4Kids... or Mihawk a French accent cuz the way he looks OTL;; characters should not have accents unless they are supposed to >3<

Well...not just in 4Kids, but, other dubbers give characters w/ Osakan accents Brooklyn and Southern accents, like Toji Suzuhara from Neo Geo or Cho the Sword Hunter from Rurouni Kenshin. And I think that giving an accent spices up the character. Otherwise, they all sound American (not that this is bad I love english dub) when the characters are clearly not from our version of Earth.
