Yeah I would've liked him to live but it kind of makes me wonder if that would have really been better for him cause I doubt he'd find much happinness. So, in the end, he was probably better off dying (as much as I hate to admit it). It would have really been interesting, though, to see what he would have done with his life had he survived. But I disagree with the Hermione thing- I actually hate the pairing. Lily was the only girl for Snape and Hermione is underaged :/ Plus he doesn't even remotely like her or vice versa.

Hermione/Snape is my OTP though... I like to imagine an alternative Universe in which he doesn't die, returns to Hogwarts, and Hermione returns to Hogwarts to teach, too... I think once she grows up they could make a nice couple...
But every one has their right to think what they want
