Last Time On Another Feudal Fairy Tale
Inuyasha, Kagome and Jane safely return to the feudal era only to come back to some bad news. Halo has gone missing. Inuyasha, Jane and their cute friend Killala start looking for her (while they others sold some crafts) and came across Naraku's scent instead. They followed the dreadful familiarity and strangely found Halo looking terrible on the ground reeking of the cold demons smell. Why does Halo have Naraku's scent all over her? Is she alright? Has Inuyasha finally found a solid lead to finding Naraku? Find out next time on Another Feudal Fairy Tale!
AFFT Chapter 8 Page 93 Time of the month
Jane gently cradled her hands beneath Halo and brought her limp body up to her chest. She soon felt the beat of Halo’s tiny heart and sighed in a heavy relief.
“Halo?” Jane tried waking her cat. Inuyasha sniffed the back of Halo’s ear and dodged his head back.
“Argh, she reeks with Naraku’s scent!” He said, disgusted. Jane rubbed Halo’s head and took a few steps slowly away from where they found her.
“But why?” Jane asked.
“You think she encountered Naraku somehow and he did something to her?” Inuyasha theorized.
“That’s the only thing I can think of.” Jane faced Inuyasha. “Why don’t we take care of her and maybe she can help us find a lead to Naraku.”
“Sure.” Inuyasha said, joining Jane on Killala for the ride back. When they got there, Inuyasha sat in the back against the wall of the wooden shelter and grunted while everyone tended to Halo.
“Oh thank goodness!” Sango said, taking Halo from Jane’s arms. Miroku’s eyebrows crinkled at the terribly familiar aura that surrounded Halo.
“Looks like she’s just exhausted. She must have been through something. Luckily she’s not hurt.” Kaede said, petting Halo in Sango’s hold.
“Why am I getting the same vibe from her that I get from Naraku?” Miroku asked.
“That’s what I’d like to know. We found her like that on the ground. No sign of him anywhere.” Inuyasha answered.
“We should head out right away and try to find a lead before whoever did this gets too far.” Miroku suggested.
“Tsk.” Inuyasha looked away in frustration.
“I think I’m going to take her to the river.” Jane said, taking Halo back. “She’s all beat up and dirty.” The group remained silent as Jane walked out with Halo. Then they all looked at Inuyasha and noticed his discomfort.
“What’s wrong, Inuyasha?” Sango asked. Inuyasha didn’t respond. Shippou stood in front of Inuyasha with his innocent eyes before he spoke.
“Hey, isn’t tonight supposed to be a full moon?” Inuyasha bonked poor Shippou on the head and crossed his arms.
“Oh yeah. That’s too bad. I guess we’ll just have to leave in the morning.” Sango said.
“Tsk. We can leave now. It won’t slow me down.” Inuyasha said out of pride.
“So you say. But you can’t use your claws when you’re human, let alone the tetseiga.” Miroku said with a hand on top of Inuyasha’s head. “Leaving now would be like suicide for you.”
“Shut up Miroku, you guys are human too!” Inuyasha said.
“They’re human every day and yet they’re still more useful then you as a half demon.” Shippou teased.
“Listen you little!” Inuyasha clenched his fist toward Shippou and the little fox ran toward Kagome whining.
“Inuyasha!” Kagome warned. Inuyasha grumbled in response and looked out the door of the hut into the disappearing sun, waiting for his least favorite moments arrival to ruin yet another night.

Jane knelt against the edge of the river next to her gloves that she had taken off and gently rinsing the back of Halo’s head. Halo has already awoken but she was very weak and for some strange reason, she hasn’t spoken a single word yet.
“You know, no one’s around, Halo. You can talk now.” Jane told her. Halo closed her eyes to avoid dripping water.
“Why don’t you start by telling me what went down with Naraku. Did you try to fight him?” Jane asked. Halo didn’t respond with words. She just shook her head.
“Then what is it? Just talk to me already! ...Halo?” Halo looked up at Jane and looked at her with deep eyes. Jane read her expression and brought her hand to her head.
“Oh no.” Jane said, pulling Halo away from the water to dry her off. “You…can’t talk anymore…can you?” Halo’s ears went back and yet somehow looked ashamed.
“What happened?” Jane asked with great frustration. How could they possibly know what to do about this if Halo can’t explain herself? Jane stomped her foot, splashing water onto both Halo and herself, ruining her progress in drying her pet. “Dammit.”
“Mrrreooww” Halo meowed. Jane brushed her bangs back with one hand and held them out of her face. She sighed and released her strands, allowing them to fall over her forehead and the side of her face once more.
“Well, you look clean enough.” Jane said, putting her gloves back on. “Let’s go back for a cloth.”
“Meow.” Halo agreed with a smile, dripping water on the ground. They both walked back on the path between the trees toward the wooden home that Kaede resided.
“You know, Halo. Somehow you don’t look too disappointed about this.” Jane said. Halo responded with a neutral expression and Jane let it go. It was already dark out and the group should be preparing to leave. When they returned, Jane walked inside and noticed that Kagome was in a sleeping bag leaning on an elbow while talking to Miroku and Sango.
“Hey, aren’t we gunna head out soon?” Jane asked.
“Uh, we decided to stay the night instead.” Miroku said with sarcasm. Jane sat down in between Miroku and Kagome.
“Okay, but…” Jane said. Halo weaved onto Miroku’s lap and he quickly grabbed the nearest cloth to wipe her down on top of his robe that she was dampening with her clean white fur.
“I’m so glad she’s ok.” Sango said. Jane smiled in contentment.
“Yeah, I think she’s just really tired.” Jane assumed. She turned around to look at Inuyasha who was sitting in the darkened side of the room.
“Aren’t you curious about why Halo smelled like Naraku?” Jane asked him. Inuyasha didn’t respond. Jane, being too lazy to stand up, dragged herself along the wooden floor until she knelt down next to him.
“Excuse me! I said, aren’t you curious about…Hm?” Jane stopped herself and bent her eyebrows in confusion when she had noticed Inuyasha’s darkened hair up close. Then she leaned forward while remaining flat on her knees.
“What’s this.” Jane said, grabbing a piece of his smooth hair and bringing it into the light. She then noticed the curved human ears tucked under it and her eyes widened. Inuyasha’s eye brow twitched in irritation as he looked away from her.
“Inuyasha? What happened? I was only gone for like 20 minutes.” Jane said confused. All of the others quickly burst into laughter and Jane fell back on her bottom. First Halo and now Inuyasha. This is too much, she thought.
“What the hell are you all laughing at?” Inuyasha yelled at them.
“Could someone explain this to me?” Jane asked. “Is Inuyasha not half demon after all?”
“Hey!” Inuyasha defended.
“You mean, you don’t know?” Kagome asked. “All half demons have certain periods in their lives when they lose all their demonic power and turn human.”
“Well this has never happened to me before.” Jane stated, curiously examining Inuyasha.
“That’s strange.” Miroku added. “Maybe it’s because she spent some many years as a human already.”
“Does that matter?” Sango asked. “She should still change. All half demons do.” Inuyasha shifted of discomfort from Jane's closeness due to her curiosity of his current appearance.
“Who cares? Either way, Inuyasha is still the only one who becomes a weakling once a month.” Miroku laughed.
“Once a month?” Jane stopped. “What are you, a woman?”
“Miroku, I thought I told you to SHUT UP.” Inuyasha slammed the ground.
“Moody too.” Jane added, quickly flinching from what could be Inuyasha’s rage and rolling over the opposite way. Miroku held up his palms in a defensive position, hinting that Jane’s additional mocks are not his fault.
"You guys are the worst, you know that?" Inuyasha complained. Jane rolled her eyes with a smile. Miroku began getting comfortable to get to sleep.
"That's Inuyasha talk for,'I love you'." Miroku joked.
"Tsk, you wish."

Jane's latest profile;
AFFT is short for "Another Feudal fairy tale." Inuyasha fans could probably pick up as to why it is called this. For those who haven't seen inuyasha, i suggest you watch/read it before reading this manga or you'll be very confused. Because i wont repeat what has been said in the anime/manga, even if it comes to any importance in this Another Feudal Fairy Tale.
This Doujin/Fiction is only for entertainment, nothing more. By reading this, you can look forward to the appearances/references of other anime including, sailormoon, Yugioh, and Naruto.
Also, if you follow the link at the top, you'll notice how each page shows a huge jump in skill level. This is because i started this when i was 12 years old and surprisingly enough, i'm still loving AFFT. I hope you can enjoy the older pages as much as the new because it shows my growth as an artist with every page.
I hope you enjoy AFFT!
Thanks for all the support! <3
