Yesss it's finally done!
Blaze, guardian of the Sol Emeralds and the Jeweled Scepter
I really like that Scepter... i want to draw it again sometime *_*
I checked this tutorial for the fire -> [link]
(though mine doesn't look half as good as the one there but it helped a lot
I'm happy with the result)(and thanks to *caninelove for pointing out the one i'd done before was wrong XD)

Very good, but one problem... Blaze's legs are SERIOUSLY off model. Sonic characters have noodle limbs, not realistic legs. As a result, Blaze looks fucking awkward as hell here and I feel dirty looking at it.

The overrated Mary-sue has another awesome picture to add to her repertoire.

These comments about Blaze being a mary sue are so repetitive. Ok let's see here, the definition of a Mary sue is "a female character that is extremely beautiful, unusually strong and talented, everyone falls for her and is usually romantically related to the main characer in the story" they're usually better than everyone in the story, sometimes even more than the main character. Or that's what I know of it, Am I corect?
It is true Blaze has an unusual ability and she is quite important to the story in the games she's appeared in... so? That the other sonic girls have played only secondary roles in the games they've appeared, or haven't been nearly as strong, doesn't make her a mary sue. What happens with shadow? or silver? they've been vital to their stories in the games they've appeared (sonic adventure 2 and next gen I mean, Shadow even has his own game).
Then "mary sues are extremely beautiful and everyone falls in love with them". Not the case. In the games it's never shown that anyone is interested in her that way (whoever she is paired by fans does not concern this)
In terms of speed, she would be a mary sue if she were faster than Sonic, the main character, which is not the case either.
Then... her transformation to Burning Blaze, right? If we were to say that makes her a mary sue, that logic leads to say Shadow and Silver are Marty-Stus(male counterpart of a mary sue). They too are very strong and have unusual skills compared to the others. Knuckles himself used to have a transformation in sonic and knuckles I believe.
Also Blaze's personality drifts her away from others, she doesn't like being helped, doesn't trust others easily, has a bad temper and is quite standoffish most of the time.
Yes, Blaze has a lot of good points, but so have many other characters in the sonicverse and people don't go calling each of them mary sues. Characters don't have to be either completely boring or Mary-sues, we can't be that extremist.
It's quite annoying to see this kind of comment, acusing characters without any base, disrespectig other people's likes and so on... It's clear they do it because they don't like the character and would rather "awesome pictures" were done for some other, but why must you go hating a character or labeling it as a mary sue or ripoff?
It's things like this what makes people hate the sonic fanbase.
I hope to have made my point with this and I'm sorry if it was too long, than you if you took the time to read it and thanks for commenting anyway.

I wouldn't be calling Blaze Mary-sue if I didn't have a base for it. Sure its repetitive but its the worst possible thing a character could be. Blaze's popularity is mystery that way.
