Description
It saw this guy (or girl) on a very hot day.Β It is a purple crested turaco and it had it's mouth open and it's tongue constantly moving similar to a dog panting.Β I'm not sure if this is to regulate body temperature but it gave the appearance that it was constantly trying to say something. It was adorable.Related content

It was in the aviary at Butterfly World near Stellenbosch Willem. It took me quite a few visits to get a good photo, but on this day it was out in the open.
