that's my baby!For those who dont know, Basset hounds are BIG in my family. And this is our little waddler Abigail Isibella Doile*, Abby for short.
She's turning 3 THIS WEEK! on the 15th! She's growing up! and she'll finally get past the terrible 2's! (though basset hounds never really grow out of trouble making. ) So as an early present, i decided to post this picture in her honor! Basset Hounds are famous for being couch dogs, and this is why. Abby tends to sleep in cute positions, so i snap a shot once in a while. I should show you the baby pictures, oh but that would take up the entire gallery if i did that. So here is one of Abby's golden moments. Happy Birthday Abby-Baby!

but i had a dog named abby... she's on my profile because i'm too stupid to know how to show a link =A= she always like to sleep in weird positions too >//w//< and she liked to chase squirrels and birds, but not cats, because she got beat up by one once :T a kitten at that...so embarrassing. =3=

It's so weird that I find people with animals that look just like mine, named the same thing! I have a basset named Abby also! I love her, she's just a charm. Here's a link of her: [link] she's an indoor dog all the way but she loves being outside in the sun.

totally! and i understand the basset love your feelin, they're like the family dog at my house. we've had 3 generations of bassets so far. Sweetie, Ruby, now Abby.

cool ^.^ i volunteer at the animal rescue leauge in my town! i've only had five bassets my whole life, it's cool that you get to breed yours.

nah, we can't breed herbs in the garden, let alone dogs. We just adopt them and love them. Ruby was my first Basset, because Sweetie died before i was born. And Ruby passed away 3 years ago, a little after we got Abby. So I've only known 2 bassets, but dad tells so many stories about sweetie, i feel like i knew her on a personal level.
But yes, BASSETS RULE! ^w^ v
