They are not disturbing. They allow the falconer to hold the bird in a gloves hand without hurting it.

I did not actually ask your opinion. and when birds are bred and looked after at the world renowned ICBP then I fail to see how iit isegoistic. Also this was a flying demonstration, not a hunting party.

I apologize, I didn't know where the photo was taken (well, nobody except you knew it, actually). I love birds and Nature, this is the reason I deeply dislike falconry (despite my opinion not being  asked for, I know ) But perhaps this particular bird was bred with educational purposes or something like that.
I keep on saying the picture is superb, but I'm afraid I'll keep on feeling a bit of sadness.
