While from what I've seen, Garrus would be the type of person I'd pick if I were in FemShep's shoes, taken strictly from a plot standpoint, knowing what happens in ME3, this is the most poetic of the relationships because her death is at least slightly assuaged by the fact that she will be reunited with her lover, whereas with the other romances, she leaves everyone behind.  With the water, the shore here, and the hints that BOTH of their forms are something other than physical substance, it really suggests that.

Very, very well done.  Heartrending indeed.

I really like the quiet, loving athmosphere. It fits the character of Thane. (e.g. it would not match the Jack or Kaidan LI i think... )

Love the colours in it, but is it just me (probably is I'm so bloody tired) but does Shep look a little sad? And Thane seems a little shocked.

Let me guess: Shep's pregnant with Thila and she's a little sad that Thane was so shocked by it? That's the only thing I can think of and it's something that can be easily rectified.
