I'm not going to lie to you, this piece needs quite a bit of work. But let me first say that your attempting a harder angle and detailed shading earns points in my book.

However, the angle looks awkward. Sonic's legs look like a frog's and his fingers grasping the board look like upright bananas...They don't seem to actually be grasping the board at all. They're just sort of there.

His expression is stiff, as are the colors. I think you need to loosen up and let the colors take over. Follow where they take you.

Also, watch the sun there. It's looking more on the cartoony than the detailed. If you like a cartoony look, emphasize it. Because this is somewhere between the two.

I just LOVE ur style!!! This is great. I love the glow on Sonic from the sun...and the shading on the board.
What do you use to color?

Thanks so much! This one was giving me some trouble [the perspective, mostly] haha. I use prismacolor markers and ink...I've just started to use them and they're kind of hard to get used to, but they give a nice even color and I really like them.

Ur welcome! I know how u feel,perspective is SO hard for me...but you did it well!
Prismacolor eh? ahh,ok. lol,I use reg crayola markers and pencils if I color it myself,without the computer. Idk where to find prismacolor markers...oh well. They do have a nice color.^^lol,good job!

I'm so bad at drawing digitally haha...I need to practice, more, i guess, but I prefer traditional anyways. I got my markers at Michael's...I don't know if you have one near you, but if you do, they are there haha.
