This is the finished version of:And yes, I do plan on keeping both versions, because I like the white background as well.
My first attempt at interior castle, hope you like.
Done with markers. (I killed a couple in finishing this... sad...)
p.s. I finished this while waiting in line to see the prescreening of Robin Hood. It was worth the wait.

Yes, they do. I drew the wings a while back and then didn't get around to finishing it for a while... but at the time, I was still very uncertain of how to draw wings. I still am... though a little better. So if you have any suggestions on how I can improve for future pictures, I'm all ears.

Now, wings are things most people drawing dragons dislike. Personally, I love drawing them, but that might be because I'm a bat fanatic. >_>
Something people forget is that bat wings aren't leathery bird wings. Bat wings and bid wings do not fly the same, and their structure is very different. Bird wings are much smaller. Bat wings need to be about three times the size of the creature in question. And the membrane should go down to the base of the tail. This way it can support itself.
I don't think you'll be making animation, but I figure it's good to tell you that bats do not have slow-moving wings. They beat them pretty frantically to keep them airborne. When drawing feathered wings, they hold them more gracefully.

I was great. It was about 90% action, 7% banter and only 3% romance... so if you in for a kick @$$ movie, this is it... if you're looking for a romantic Robin Hood, look elsewhere... I personally thought it was awesome. It is the story before the legend... about how he because the prince of thieves... and all that... told in a realistic "if it really happened, it would have happened like this" manner, which appeals to me greatly.
