•Studious:
Although he may look like a punk who's out to beat someone's derrière, Sakuma is actually an honor student who's very conscious of his grades and strives to keep a good work ethic. If he's to be a professional engineer in the future, he sure as hell gotta know his math.
• Analytical
Due to his studious nature and his professional goal, this student always breaks down any situation into its skeleton like staring a building down to its blueprint. Majority of the time, this skill helps Sakuma with any given situation, but put him in a fight or something that requires much quicker thinking, one may be able to catch him off guard.
•Blunt
Sakuma aint gunna hold back any comment if he thinks your haircut sucks. In other words, he isn't afraid of being directly honest. Of course abuse of this can lead to negativity; however, when he feels it's necessary, he will follow up his bluntness with constructive criticism. Can't fix a pipe unless you know the cause, right?
•Loud-Mouth
Yeahhhh even though he's not really out to kick someone's derrière, he still looks like a punk and can sometimes act like it, given someone annoys him. Just imagine Edward Elric yelling when he's called short…you'll get the idea. In other cases, if he likes you as a person, he may call you names through playful banter.
•Tsundere
IT'S NOT LIKE I LOVE YOU OR ANYTHING DOKI DOKI DOKI <-- ignore that trololol. Anyways, despite his punky attitude, and his occasional (maybe a little more occassional than he'll admit) superiority complex over lazy students who don't do their homework, Sakuma isn't a bad guy. He might not seem approachable at first, but get to know him well enough, and you'll find he can be quite a goofball.

Background story:
Sakuma lives towards the slums of town with his parents, helping out his handy-man dad who makes his business out of fixing basically anything (or at least tries his best to). The boy hopes to one day become an engineer, to both fulfill that dream and to bring his family out of poverty. Going to this crazy school was the only better option he really could find in this city for a better education, and to protect his family from other crazy mishaps; for example, he mainly worked part-time at a car factory, until someone possessed by a bad kamui nearly destroyed the building. Sakuma was nearby and explosion, which caused his left leg to be burned, then partly crushed as debris fell from overhead. Luckily, that was the only severe injury. Other mishaps include gang fights and thefts of junk parts. As long as Sakuma has his dream and continues breathing, he'll make it through.

Additional information:
•As stated before, Sakuma's left leg is missing--halfway up to his knee to be exact. He has a prosthetic leg, but he won't bother to mention or show it to anyone unless he has to, or if he's wearing shorts.
•Lizards are pretty cool.
•Cats always stare at him funny…or vise versa…cats are weird. And eerie. Just. Cats...
