I would say, even though I am myself an american, I agree with you. I don't like how our country is run, nor the people who run it. Especially here in my homestate of NY. we have the most corrupt politicians, I'm sad to say. The people here, the citizens, can be amazing in their insight and ideas; but the people who are elected for office either aren't like that or don't push for reform for fear of losing their power. it's sad, really. Perfect example: Elliot Spitzer, our late governor. I'm sure you heard about the things going on recently with him. it's just... a sad affair. I see so many young people around me who have the insight to do good for this country... but i know that even if they try they will never get the chance.
