Finally getting some time and energy to draw again!I love the weather we're getting now, nice and chilly with great fall colors everywhere. Perfect weather for cozy sweaters and tasty sugar-laden coffee beverages.
This was a fun "play with colors" piece. I tried at first to keep everything warm, but I decided her skirt needed to be a blue-based gray to balance out the blue in her eyes.
I made myself this big Copic "cheat sheet" with a color swatch of all of my markers on one sheet, and that was SO helpful. Made it so much easier to find what I was looking for since the cap colors can't really be trusted... makes me wish I'd taken the time to do it sooner!

Try doing a colored pencil cheat sheet; you have to show what all the colors look like when they're combined in which orders. >.>;

Speaking of Starbucks, I can't decide if the "Pumpkin Spice Latte" is actually worth all the hype it gets. It's good, but not THAT good.

It's a gimmick, that's all, but that's sort of Starbucks' strong point I think. Gimmicky drinks. For coffee alone I really prefer somewhere like Panera, just seems to taste better... so if I'm in a Starbucks, it's for some kind of fancy schmancy flavored cup of calories.

I happen to like Gimmicky Drinks, thank you very much. Give me something with an unpronounceable name and an umbrella in it and I'm perfectly happy. Kidding by the way. I really don't drink black coffee but see what you are saying. I do love this time of year though and am anxiously waiting for winter.

Personally I can stand the cold weather, it's just that I don't like the snow and ice because it usually strands me where I live.... and then it stays forever. Literally. We could have 4 inches of snow and just down the road it could be all melted.. x.x

What gets me buzzed in the morning is if I go into town and jump off a 5-story building into a dumpster. For me , it lasts longer and is less expensive then coffee, and it's a lot more familiar too, as that's the kind of stuff I do when I'm bored!
