Aww, what an awesome shot! I always try to get good pics of my dogs playing but I don't think it works as well with a digital camera for one thing, and my dogs don't look all that friendly when they're playing...it'd look like they were killing each other.... Just out of curiosity, what kind of dog is Nera?

nera is a karabash, a turkish livestock protection dog. shes 1 month younger than basco.
all my photos are taken with digicam. i have loads of photos where playing dogs look like killing each other (will submit some of them). but i have also photos of basco (as well as of nera) getting mobbed by other dogs (will submit them too).

Wow I didn't think you could get such wonderful shots with a digital... I'm getting inspired to go out and photograph my doogers... every once in a while I get a good pic, but it's pretty rare.

i need lots and lots of photos to get one that is good enough to submit. most are good, but more as examples for behaviour studying, not for presenting them in a gallery.
i use a digital slr cam. but most shots are a bit refined before they are submitted (level adjustment, cropping and sharpening).

Yeah that's the good thing about digital...you can take as many pictures as you need with no extra cost for getting them developed or anything. And you can see them right after you take em and can delete them if they're bad. Mm I love technology
