I haven't played much of either game yet, and while their quality is admittedly not amazing, the writing and dialog are very faithful to the books. The voice acting is pretty good too and I like all of the characters so far, especially the main protagonists of the game titled The Scout, Sophia and Liam. I just think they make a nice couple, being engaged and soon-to-be-wed at the beginning of the story.

Even if the gameplay isn’t amazing in The Scout, it’s certainly interesting. It’s a stealthy action game primarily, taking into account not only things like line of sight and sound but also more animal-based factors like scent trails and wind direction.

In any case, it’s nice to see that the series is continuing in some way since the death of the novels’ author Brian Jacques back in 2011, after which (obviously) no new novels or stories have been written. I’ve been a big Redwall fan for most of my life, and I would’ve loved for some games like these as a kid. It looks like more games are scheduled to come out in the future, so I’ll keep my eye out for those too.
