Description Ruth didn't do this job by himself, so here's Ruth and Jaxom rescuing the queen egg.

Jaxom's coat, hat, and rider straps are made from leather, plastic sheeting, glue, and some brass doodads. The rest is sculpey and paint.

I'm sort of hoping the goggles and grime can hide the fact that I can't do faces.

Poor dragon. What a horrible harness you had done for it.

It's better than the alternative.

Haha! OMG! Poor dragon. Why writers do such stupid things. Perne's dragons and Temeraire's dragons are flying diplodocuses who must eat a huge amount of food.

Yes, while Ruth has it easier in the meter scale than the feet scale, you do end up with this situation: fav.me/dggmpw

We should think those dragons are filled with a gas like the helium balloons. Of course the Ruth's weight is compared to human's weight.

Where is he compared to a human's weight, and how is that even possible? He's at least the size of a horse even in the feet scale.

Personally, I've always been rather partial to the cubit scale.

Yeah, I suppose all dragons are existing at their books by same rules. I'm sure the dragons like Ramoth is flying with gas. So the smallest dragons is using gas too, so Ruth should be more light weight than a horse.

Aaaaah I love it! This is the only sculpture I've ever seen of a person riding a Pernese dragon. Well done!!!

Hmm, I never noticed that before. C'mon guys, be brave! Make a person. Or do what I did and swaddle them in clothes to hide the mistakes.

One of these days I will... come to think of it I've never sculpted a Pernese dragon at all! Only firelizards.

I also really like the rear strap around the base of the tail. I always thought that might be necessary since a proper harness wouldn't really fit on Ruth, but I wasn't sure if it would work. You made it so!

I got the idea from a drawing - maybe one of yours? It seemed necessary for a smaller dragon. He'd have to sit on the shoulders. His neck alone couldn't support him, and without some kind of anchoring, he'd knock into the wings on every sharp turn.

This one, perhaps? [link]

I've never drawn one with a rear strap just for Jaxom, but you're right that He would need an anchor.

Yeah, yeah, I remember that one now. And the one where they're all piled onto Ruth's neck xD
