you mean a combination of eastern and western art form? you can find that kind of reference material in 80's to mid 90's american/japanese cartoons(anime), there aren't many japanese cartoons like that being made these days.
however adv, manga-entertainment and a few that bandai dubbed " late 90's and over"anime with that sort of style in it. there are a few i can remember the names of ,which was witch hunter robin , cowboy bebop, wolfs rain, ghost in the shell, moribito and moon light mile. there are quite a bit more out there but this is the only leads i can recall atm. :B
so yeah if you're looking for a more realistic feature in anime you'll have better luck by searching for ones that were mead before the late 90's like mega-zone 23, the 70's type might also be good, lupin III had a nice style to it.

give onemanga's seinen section a try sometime and see if there's any of that sort style wise you might like o,o . you might have better luck looking for what you desire comic-wise instead.
