Marina has done it to me again! This is the evil static from her Static Shock fanfic "Through a Glass, Darkly" its a good fic, go read it, its up on fanfiction.net. go, go now!still here?
ok ok ill talk about it. ummm the image just kinda came to me as I was thinking back on her fic. i think the idea of Virgil looking evil and menacing was just too good to pass up. that and i had lots of fun making the electricity glow XD yay for tricks! and heck, for as much as i love that boy ive never drawn him, so it was about time... even if it is his evil doppelganger... hehe...
umm so anyway~

So I absolutely love this artwork; I remember knowing Static from the tv series when I was a kid and saw him in a new series and did a search here, leading me to your awesome work!
I was really curious about it and reading your description made me even more curious, so I went to fanfiction.net to find the story that so inspired you--
but there are like, THOUSANDS of stories with the same title and I can't find one about Static....
Any chance you could post a link to it?
I totally fell in love with this and was so disappointed not to find your inspiration!

This is Amazing i love the idea of an even static cuz there are alot of leathal things u can do with electro magnetic powers, im making a fan film by the way this is the trailer [link] the effects will be 3 times better by the time episode one comes out

I also have an evil parallel Static in my stories.
My evil alternate Static comes from Dimension X, a dimension with villanous versions of the Universe Beta superheroes and heroic versions of Universe Beta villains.

Looking at him and remembering a while ago I used to see these decent toon but didn't make it for long...somebody told me the artist of the character died...And all this time I was blinde not to see the humor and beauty of this character...Im kinda dissapointed that your drawing didn't make at 1st position on DA (I know is not your fault), the one that I saw is not strong nor pleasable to me. I found it rather as an insult since I like the charater, but well I wanted to say your is absolutely gorgeus full of power and passion...Ufff his hair looks so FUNKY!!!!

Okay, this is profoundly awesome! I stayed up all night last night (still haven't slept) reading Through the Glass, Darkly. And I honestly wished I hadn't. Not because the story was bad, because the story was so AMAZING! I cried a whole bunch, and giggled at certain parts, and I think around 4 I shook my computer and told Virgil to stop fighting evil static and GO SAVE RICHIE!
But it was because it is incomplete, and has yet to be updated for FOUR YEARS! I almost died when I saw that! I hate awesome FFs to be unfinished!! *sobs* I want to know what haaaappeeens!! ;__;
