wow this is so cool!! im sorry to ask such a silly question but what exactly is ultra fractal? or fractal art in general.. i mean obviously its this but how is it done?

For 3D first search for animations on YouTube using the search terma Mandelbulb and/or Mandelbox and/or 3D IFS and/or Xenodream.

If you want to create 3D fractals yourself then the best software to do so is currently freeware available from:

Just find the sections for "Mandelbulber" and "Mandelbulb3D" - there are also links to other software for 3D fractals that will even render then in realtime if your GPU is up to it....
