Description Puerto Rico (LOC) 1942. Part of a set from a Library of Congress collection of public domain photographs taken in color in the early 1940's with cameras using larger formats than 35mm. Titles can be searched on the LOC site or by going to Flikr and searching under the title "Library of Congress." So if i understand correctly--these are not your photographs?
I am almost 100 percent certain i've seen this photo somewhere around here on dA with no mention of their being archive images.

Not my photographs. As indicated in the artist's comments, the whole gallery is of pictures taken for the United States government in the lat 30's early 40's essentially during the great depression. They are in the public domain.
