470 million years ago in what is now the Trenton Limestone Ohio, an 8-meter-long Cameroceras trentonense has captured a cat-sized Megalograptus ohioensis from the sandy sea-floor as two Endoceras pass by in the background.
Cameroceras was one of the largest cephalopod predators of its time, and an active predator of arthropods such as eurypterids and trilobites a well as smaller cephalopods.
