This was written on April 3, 2023 when it was posted.
And now comes the big event that I announced last week: The Sonic and Gumball Coliseum! I wanted to try something very new for my Deviant Art account where I let my audience decide on what they think is the best Sonic and Gumball drawing that I’ve made. My criteria for this experiment is very simple: A) The drawing must have had at least 20 favorites, B) Sonic and Gumball only (as in no other IPs involved, just these two; other characters from one of those two IPs being in the drawing is perfectly fine, though), and C) No collaborations, as I don’t want to make an artist I worked with to feel bad for losing this kind of tournament. I know that my biggest hit Sonic and Gumball drawing with the most favorites is a collab drawing, but, like I said, I don’t want to feel like I’d be stirring up drama and hurting someone’s feelings and making them feel like they’re not special. I’m a lot more considerate in ways like that nowadays than I was ten years ago when I started here on Deviant Art and made The Frustrated Fanfic Reader. Got that? Good! Because let’s now have some fun with this set of rounds I’ve set up with all of the polls currently running, all of which you can see for yourself by clicking all of the links on the titles!
