Man . . . "Dumped at the Altar" was such a hard episode to watch. I felt heartbroken the whole time, from that foreboding sunset to the final hug.
I just don't know what to think. Mordecai said he was over Margaret, but the moment he finds out she still has feelings for him he starts to have second thoughts? And CJ . . . she actually tried to befriend Margaret, wishing to get to know her and make amends for her mistake in "1000th Chopper Flight Party". But instead it ended in frustration. . . .
I pray that we'll see CJ again sometime in the future and that, if nothing else, she and Mordecai can make peace and still be friends. She's just too good a character to forget about.
The way you drew this, with that rough outline, really gives the impression that the artist was just as pained as the subject. It's like saying to CJ, "I feel your pain. Don't worry, you're not alone." And that expression is just so sad.
I hope one day CJ's heart will be healed and that she'll be given the chance to find the love she wants and deserves.
