This is really cute! I like your character and also your relationship with him. It's really cute and I like how he behaves(lol, disapproving you and shopping for shoes xD ). I really like your style! It's well drawn and you did a great job on the clothes and backgrounds. What did you do this in(a pencil/pen/photoshop,etc.)?

I can't be 100% sure but I'm fairly certain I did this digitally, using OpenCanvas. I say this because while I might have used photoshop, the lines usually don't come out as smooth there...

so...with open canvas, do you use one of those tablet things? I haven't really worked photoshop or any other program so I don't overly understand how different programs make lineart. Do you just draw on the canvas and the lineart appears or do you have to do each line with the pen tool?

I have a wacom tablet that I use for digital drawings. It really is up to the artist what tool is used though - I cannot draw with a mouse but my friend can't draw unless she's using a mouse.
I've only used three art programs (Adobe Photoshop, Coral Painter and OpenCanvas) so I'm not an authority on how it works, but usually it works the same way with a mouse - if you have the paintbrush or pen tool selected, it will make the lines on the canvas. If you have paint bucket selected then it will fill in the area that you click. The best way is to just play around and experiment.

I don't know why, but "Strawberries, Y/N?" and the resulting "Y" amuses me greatly... Now i have to do this one. So much for me staving off fads and whatnot.

that's a fun meme... i hadn't really noticed any memes going around for a long time, then Nyu's meme started up, and now more meme-age (meme-ish-ness? meme-ity? memememememe*cough hack gasp*) seems to be popping out of the woodworks, lol.
i also have a habit of making my favorite characters/fan-characters tall even though i'm short...
