This is my Neopet movz. I'm using this picture to enter her on a beauty contest on Neopets. I was inspired to draw her in this fashion after watching over 100 episodes of sailor moon. Her tiara is not gold. The wig I modeled her hair from is made of cotton candy and a wafer cone tiara. I just made the hair, hair but kept the crone as a wafer because I fail at metal shading.This picture was drawn by hand than colored on painttool sai. The sparkles are half mine and half whoever made the brush that overlapped mine. I hope you enjoy her.
Took me 15 minutes to draw and 2 hours to color. I think she turned out rather lovely.

One thing I think I will never get... is how can you work so very quickly. Two hours to colour anything in this kind of detail is fast... very, very fast. For a time-strapped guy like me, I almost envy your speed.
I'm no good at dealing with anthro characters. But I like the cotton candy/wafer cone idea. If this is a piece for a contest, I wish you the best of luck!

I go back to fix my sketches at times. I sometimes fix them during colouring, too. I'm starting to learn how to tweak sketches in PS (... has the whole world moved to SAI?) I find it saves me some time compared to moving back and forth between sketch and screen. It might be worth a try?

I have a swashbuckling version of PS, so technically I got it for free, too?
But I know what you mean, I was using MS Paint for the longest time. I wonder if that's why people are moving on to SAI...? PS can really cost an arm and a leg...
