 I'm self-taught. It took me 20 years to arrive at this stage.  I guess I am a slow learner And I am still learning. 
I love painting faces. They hold so much soul.

Oh no, I couldn't I tried and tried, but those eyes of Geralt. I just can't get it right. 
He ends up looking like one of those fishbowl eyed dogs instead of a mighty white wolf.

LOL fishbowl dog, love it! It is rough to draw. I have yet to get him right. I have only tried a few Witcher related projects, I should do more. I really needed to get away from Dragon Age, so, for now, it's Skyrim, but I did love the Witcher 2  *cough* 10 games worth*cough* and should try again. I love Tris, so maybe I should try her or Ves one day.

would be lovely to see them make an appearance in your gallery. 
I am stuck painting the same loop over and over. But as long as I enjoy it I kinda just continue.

That sounds like me with Dragon Age Alistair. I draw him constantly and have tons of work I have never shared, but that is my feel good spot. Sometimes I will draw him almost daily for months or more, lol, and then will have something new take my interest, but I always return to him when I need to. Art holds are emotions, fears or even tears within it and even if it is one character over and over again, if it makes you feel happy, then it is fulfilling a basic safe haven that makes you feel good. In time you will branch away and should you not, well it is beautiful work that helps make others smile. There is not much more fulfilling in life than knowing something you created made another person smile, even if only for one moment.
