Aww, thanks. (my choir actually called ourselves the supermegafoxyawesomehot choir - it's worth the weird looks)
Sure. I'm from Denmark, as it says on my profile, so we share a border.

Okay, easy now, for I bring gleeky, very very gleeky consolation.
I found this link somewhere on DA, can't remember where.
It's a fanfic that follows Kurt when he goes to Dalton, and it's really well written.
I had never read fan fiction before in my life, but I was so depressed about my stressful exams that I clicked the link and started reading.
And then my brain caught fire.
It's really well written, I think, and it can provide some outlet for our Kurt/Blaine-love need till February. It's got lovely twins in it as well. Very Fred and George.
[link] <-- Clickety-click is good fanfic (Okay, Maitia, pull yourself together)
Will you follow the rabbit down the rabbithole of fanfic? (A real reference, actually. The twins call Kurt "Alice")

Oh my god. I totally found that this weekend too. I didn't start reading it, because I have a gigantic history project that needs to be started... But I saved the link & I planned to read it when I had free time. PFFFT Gad, more reasons to procrastinate... Well, maybe if I just read the first chapter...

They're amazing. Considering Alice in Wonderland (The Tim Burton version) is like, one of my favorite movies EVER, i'm like OMFG THIS IS EPIC.
I'm sick of being stressed too. Lets boycott exams & homework and throw redvines at people. XD

Oh yeah! It'd be mayhem like in the good old days!
I went to a boarding school for a year, when I was about 16, and it was probably the best year I've ever had. It wasn't quite as mad as Windsor house, but it was close!
For instance, this one time we stole a -lifesize- cardboard cutout of the principle and put all our underwear on it (he'd refused to clean up after his dog had left a poo in the little glass entrance to our house).
We'd also sneak out at night and have noodle parties and stuff.
Oh, and since our dorm windows faced the boy's dorm opposite, we would tease them all the time. When one of them danced around naked in there, one of my roomies actually got it on film! Which she then, accidentally, included in an assignment, she handed in.
The teacher who'd sat down to watch the filmed interview in the assignment didn't know that at the end, there'd be a naked boy dancing, and she was wathing it with her little daughter!
There was also, for some unknown reason, a stripper pole in the kitchen!
Now I've got a neighbour who knocks on my door at 3 AM and gives me a drawing of Spongebob Squarepants.
Are things as weird where you live?

Oh my god, that sounds like unbelievable fun. XD A stripper pole in the kitchen? WTF? XD
You're neighbors must me awesome. Mine fight all the time at odd hour of the night & occasionally the cops show up. XD

Maitia In reply to DancingJupiter [2011-01-08 01:16:54 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what the deal was with that stripper pole. I mean, if you're going to have one, and I'm not sure you should at a school, why place it in the kitchen of all places?
All I can say is that it was used.
Wow, not so much fun with your neighbours, huh? Actually, this guy is... I don't know. I've nicknamed him Umbilical Cord Guy because I have no idea what his name is, and he seems to to still need his mummy around. He's borrowed all sorts of weird stuff off me (a lamp, a towel, flattening irons... I know, right?), which he has yet to return and apparently often forgets to buy toilet paper and then comes over with a pleading look on his face and asks if I can spare a roll. Also, he's not very good with words. Seriously lives in his own little bubble. But he's nice.
Also (forgive the life story), I used to share a flat with a blind guy, who was nice but extremely overbearing, attention-seeking and a general know-it-all. So after particularly admonishing rants, I'd get revenge by leaving the door of one of my kitchen cabinets open. It would be just the right height so that when he was rushing into the kitchen (he always walked really fast), it'd hit him right on the forehead, he'd swear and I'd curl up in silent giggles in my room.
It felt so bad and so good at the same time.

You have quite an interesting life there! A blind guy? He seems like he was pretty in-your-face-ish, but you with the cabinets? It seems so wrong to laugh, yet I am anyway. XD

My brother throws snails into the street and laughs when they get hit by cars. We're terrible people. XD
