The best since 1996Or at least in my opinion...
But in all seriousness, Blastoise is my all time favourite Pokemon, and has been since I was a kid. I think what I love about this card is that it has three of my favourite Kanto Water Pokemon. All that is missing is Slowpoke, because that thing is a lovable oath
And, this is the last of the Pokemon Cards from this project. Now back to working on Crimson Wars!

Your hands must really hurt after completing each of these.
Very awesome job. Just curious, how do you get the texture to look smooth? Is that just your style, or do you blend the colors some kind of way?

Usually, especially if I'm rushing to get them finished, which is why I try to take my time with them haha
I build up layers of colour to blend. I basically start out lightly shading certain areas of the drawing, and the more I go along, I apply pressure on the pencil. I answered a similar question on my Tumblr here, along with some visuals: magpie-of-plutonium.tumblr.com…

Huh...that's kinda how I do it...I never realized it lol. I guess now I have a way of explaining it as well. I have a hard time "explaining" what I do. I'm just like, "....you just do it.", and it usually ends with sighs of frustrastion from the other person.
