I respectfully disagree - I think it works quite well.
The water reflection effect at the bottom is eyecatching.

nice.
i think you should have kept going from the center piece idea. the patterns that lead out from it doesn't really seem to fit it right; this is from my opinion.
spend some time playing around cuz u never know a random action can really change the look of it to something better.
