i don't understand why the blue is on a different side than the envelope and business cards. That threw me off a little bit.

This looks very nice. May I suggest you check out Logo and Letterhead Design? It's a book with nothing but logos and letterhead/corporate identity design examples from the best designers in the world. I haven't purchased any of them but I have seen them at barnes and nobles and borders book stores. amazon.com too. What is the corporate identity you are trying to portray with this design?
It is very nice looking, clean design and cool colors. But as someone who is unaware of what the company does I have no idea what the brand identity is supposed to be, based souly on this design.
Keep up the good work, you have a lot of cool stuff in your gallery.

Perhaps I should clarify - what types of electronics? Is this a company like sony, making mostly consumer products or a company producing industrial electronics? Also, the X looks almost like a swastika, which you would want to avoid at all costs. I'd love to see another attempt at something like this!

This was ofcourse for a fictitious company. But I had in mind a company which focuses on producing next generation, cutting edge electronic equipment. Perhaps the logo doesin't reveal what exactly the company is dealing on. But then not all logos do. Will keep in mind what you said about the 'X' though. Heh,heh.
