Whew, been a while since my last project of this scale!Giant Lugia measures 35" tall, with each wings measuring 40", same for the tail.Β He is made out of minky with machine embroidered eyes. He's stuffed with polyester stuffing and cushion foam for extra support. His wings and back scales are lined with a few layers of quilt batting. He's also almost completely machine sewn for durability, the only pieces that were attached by hand are the eyes.
Sorry for the not-so-pretty backdrop, obviously he didn't fit in my other photo setups and this is the only place in the house that gets nice natural light. xP

Looking through the comments I saw you had no plans of ever recreating this again, is that due to the size or the shape of lugia? Kinda curious as I would like to get a lugia plush but If I were to settle for a small one would you still do it?

man that really stinks. i was looking forward to commissioning this. may i request the blueprints to make one for my self? (not looking to make for other people or for profit) you have such a lovely design and i know someone who sews a lot. this would mean a lot to me.

My giant plushies are stuffed with regular polyester stuffing and sometimes have cushioning foam sheets inside them as well to make them more solid

I see from youtube and here that you are great at making life size products for clients. I too build life size toys. (you can see master splinter in my gallery if you wish) I have a question.
I am guessing you send them out, yes? if so, how to you send them? I am moving soon and I don't wish for my creations to be harmed nor dirtied on the way to the new house. I would simply box them up but they are simply too big for the boxes at Wal-Mart. (maybe a fridge boxes then?)Β so, in short, I wish to know how you package them for shipment. I would greatly appreciate a response.

I send them in large boxes. I get mine from Staples, odds are most office supply stores would carry shipping boxes in various sizes. Moving companies (like Uhaul) also sell boxes, and I think Home Depot does as well. I seal the plushies in plastic bags before boxing them up to make sure they stay clean as well.
If it's an option, you could also opt to unstuff your plushies for the move and re-stuff them once they arrive
