Recently on Facebook, I saw numbers of artists posting a comic strip expressing their feeling regarding the lack of attention they are receiving upon their art submission and I thought I should share mine too. This is my lifestyle as a low profile artist and working hard to be successful one day. Stay humble and be positive guys! This is how a true artist and art appreciator should react. I myself am a novel writer and keep getting put into this situation.
Jealousy will only blind you to taking in what can help you improve, after all.

Your motivation is looking at artists that have Such great quality and popularity that you aspire to be?
Cheesy, But a solid reason.
Mine is Simply drawing in rebellion.
Because I look at artists like you and I think...He/she has everything, Quality, popularity, COLOR. Why the hell do I draw?
Simple.
Because of the fact that I DON'T have that quality that I keep drawing.
To simply say F*ck it, I won't ever reach that stage, Give up. Really shows alot of your character in life.
Im no expert. I just draw in pencil, Keep it black and white, I can't color worth a damn.
But I WILL still draw.
I won't give up nor will I be discouraged from drawing.
THAT'S my "motivation"
In addition, people who see my work in real life and say its good despite being barebones basic and See other artists of similar quality Popular as hell...
But I think ive made my point. :/

It's good get that flow of motivation... but usually looking at artist whose art is a bit near of what you can do. Otherwise, it could be depressed XD

This is so true. I sometimes get discouraged when I see like a quick sketch of a "my little pony" getting like 1,000s of views in a day. But you are right, I just need to work hard to improve. I already see more responses as my art improves, and I have found if likes is all one is after (which i'm not) its easy to see what people are liking and wanting to see. Audience is so important!
