Short Background story:

The Lady Immolatasia, otherwise known by her real name, Millia Sharihen, is a warrior and elemental mage. She was Born on an alternate earth known as Delsyrus, a land ruled by magic, the sword and gods both vile and benevolent. Millia was born to the patriarchal mage family Sharihen. Her father desired a male heir and saw her as nothing more than an accident as her mother and older sister remained silent and pained observers.

As Millia grew, she wrested magic from ancient and powerful tomes, observing the cloister of magicians her father employed. Consoled only by her sister whom she held dear, she grew to be a bitter and icy teenager. Her power, however, was growing leaps and bounds and eventually attracted the attention of her father. When Millia’s sister, Elvarie, confessed their father’s plans to kill her, Millia sprang into a desperate act; seeking the artifact known as Agnalus, the warhammer of ancient wars that remained in her family crypts, she found a way to overpower her father. Her fire magic heightened, she killed her father and burned the family manor down with her mother in it. Since then, her sister never forgave her, and the two parted ways.

Millia wandered, living as a thief with a merry band, wielding the powers of fire and earth, her elements of power with fury. Her band was slaughtered one day by The Lord Kaidren, leader of the armies of the chaos god, Velor. Proposing an ultimatum, he bade Millia serve his armies or die. Begrudgingly, she spat in his face, but was forced to relent. The two grew to fall in a twisted version of love, and as Millia trained under their banner, her skills as a warrior came to be, her beauty transforming her from a gaunt, tall maiden into an amazon of fearsome strength and mystique. She razed the battlefield with her growing skill, gaining reputation and honor on the battlefield. For over a decade she fought in his name, slaying men and women in an expression of the stifled anger she felt in her youth, but all things have an end.

Kaidren, in an order from his god, and out of a repeated fear of her growing power, left Millia for dead on the battlefield. Fate intervened, and she was dragged, beaten and bloodied out of danger by a close comrade. From then, she waged a twenty year campaign against her husband and the cities and gods of light. Finally, the day came where she confronted her husband, wielding a magical scroll to undo his immortal invulnerability, the clash of magicks resulted in his apparent death and a rift in space time, sending her spiraling to the modern world of earth, and Paragon City.

Millia grew to learn the culture, the peoples and the language. In time, she enacted a reign of villainy and terror, but the purpose became unclear to her. As her anger faded over years, and she saw the outcast acts of her fellow villains, she decided to stem away from her darkened past and for the first time in ages, she felt something she could not have conceived: guilt. She found many things, friends, love and a sense of family she had never known. Resolving to overcome her past darkness, she strove to act upon a new sense of forming righteousness, justice and atonement.

The death of her sister, murdered by a woman whose life Millia once ruined in her fury, resolved the sorceress to stay on this path of justice, and overcome the over thirty years of murder she had enacted. Brandishing the warhammer Agnalus, as well as her fire and earthen prowess, she is The Lady Immolatasia; warrior-mage, entrepreneur, and hero.
