Trying several different things in this picture. I just want to say, though it may not show, Socar Myles' art is definitely an inspiration in this particular piece. Tried to make the gryphon a little ratlike. *g*Related content

Oh my gosh I recognize this piece!! This was the background-logo thingy for Elfwood! Elfwood is great, but it has to be fantasy, was so closed to other kinds of art. But it turned me onto DevArt, so I really can't complain! It's an iconic piece, really. *Oh, and LOVELOVELOVE Socar, btw*

You do griffons so well! I absolutly love the smoke and clouds in this....I still can not fathom how to get such awsome results in my paintings or even in photoshop. Oh well, practice makes perfect I guess.
I can definatly see the rat likeness to the character with his crouching position and head tilted upwards, he looks very sneaky and coniving.
