What version of Photoshop are you using for this? The version I use doesn't have a curved line tool...

The line tool is just a tool simply used to make perfectly straight lines, though some programs have the option to make lines and then curve them- I have Elements 8 and it only gives the option to make a straight line. When I fix my computer I'll look up some good tutorials and play around with it some.

For the pen tool, you place dots and then you curve them with, well, I call it nodes. Then you can stroke it and so forth. It's really helpful. And, if you need any help, I could help. ^^

I've read about a thing called Shearing, but it seems like it'd be a little on the annoying side to do- I'm eager to try it. Most people I've seen that use Photoshop use CS_ and not so many Elements...
