His brow needs to be more furrowed... other than that well done.

I love that armor set, and the way you've coloured his skin. I'm agreed on the eyebrows, but...wow. This portrait just looks incredible. I didn't like Casavir at first, or rather, he left no impression, but now he's my second favourite. Nice to see some detailed fanart of him. <3

I appreciate the critism. I tried to humanize Casavir and Bishop a bit over their faces in the game. Guess it comes down to taste eh?

Well, I haven't got a real problem with it per se. XD I can appreciate that it's an artistic interpretation of a character and therefore the eyebrows can be different.
Personally, I don't think it's taste so much as... Well, to contrast with Gann's and Valen's portraits, Valen doesn't HAVE a high-definition model to speak of and just has a teeny portrait, and Gann's model looks... if not downright terrible, then at least very different from his concept art. Discrepancies like these encourage people to create their own mental image of the character off their imagination rather than the actual in game data.
Bishop and Casavir, on the other hand, have (IMO) models of far better quality, so they're more liable to be used as references for the mental image. That doesn't mean everyone does or should do so, but yeah, in general people will expect a higher degree of likeness to the character model if they think the model is worth using as reference than in the case of a character who nobody knows exactly how to imagine, anyway.
There, my rant is over. ^^ I'm not sure why this was necessary, but yeah... XD

I appreciate that. I just thought the game models were too pretty and unrealistic. My goal with these was to reflect what I saw as their "character" and lifestyle, more than just the models in game.
I did attempt to bring in an echo of their in game looks, but as I said, humanize them. Nobody really looks like the game models do -- especially not battle hardened men who spend most of their time outside.
Just my 2 cents on why I chose to make them look the way I did.

I like the different color choice for the armor, his eyes stand out more than uncolored armor. (And some armor comes in odd colors only in the game)

Tha's cool, what did you play in Neverwinter Nights 2? Great pic though your details on the face and armor are amazingly realistic.
