Description Ok..... so i wanted to produce some Aztec art with a little twist done in my own style. The finished product is an Aztec god with with his hands folded in prayer and a traditional Virgin Mary background and roses. You will also notice around the edges some small elements from the Aztec calendar. I used prisma pigment liners and prisma markers on bristol. I would very much appreciate input and comments on this piece.

I like it. Unique twist on an old theme.

The only input I can offer is, and this is just my visual aesthetic snob talking, instead of a plain blue field I think it would have been more appealing transitioning from light to dark hues. I think it would have set it off more.

But like I said..just my POV. I know what a pain it can be to blend with markers.

But..on a scale of 1 - 10, definite 9

i realy like the stone. i think the blue backround could be shaded a bit insted of solid ... but i also know how hard that is to do with markers even nice markers like prisma. haveyou ever triedthe fw artist ink?

i use them with a spit shade technique. they are amazing and very easy to "wash out" to add a light color.

o yeah i also use micron pens for outlines.(i use Faber Castell but thats just my pref)
