Love Astro-Photography. I wish I had the gear and time to do some. BTW, did you use a motorized tripod or use photoshop to counter the "star trails" due to a long exposure time?

It is just one picture and with a simple tripod without any startracking stuff
I used 14mm wide angle so you can have a longer expourse time without seeing the star trails.
And Australian sky is amazing, because there is no light pollution, so you see much more stars then every else.

Thank you for the info. I know I won't be getting to Australia anytime soon, however I live close to the Canadian Badlands. Same thing of no light pollution. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my questions. Happy Snapping

Aaaach, ich weiß schon warum ich dich/deine Bilder beobachte! Das lädt ja richtig ein zum Träumen.
Bereitet mir fast Fernweh nach der Wüste, obwohl ich noch nie dort war und sonst auch eher der Meer-und-wilde-Brandung-Typ bin

Naja, is ja eigentlich gar nicht die Wüste
Sind nur Sanddünen und das Meer wäre ca. 5km in die andere Richtung gewesen

Ich hoffe ich komme noch weiter so viel herum, damit ich dich weiter beeindrucken kann

Das is in West Australien, beim Nambung National Park.
Siehst, die Beschreibung unterm Bild hab ich ja ganz vergessen, muss ich nachholen ^^
