I made the mistake of giving the blanket to the recipient before taking pictures, and now I am waiting for some good pictures!    Meanwhile, I can tell you that it took 8 skeins of yarn (I used Lion Brand Homespun Yarn and I will say that it made the blanket a nice heavy blanket since you use two strands of yarn at once.  A lighter yarn may be better depending on your climate).  Also, this is the pattern I used: www.craftsy.com/pattern/croche…  Enjoy!

Thank you for reply Can't wait to see it. My climate is Sweden xD I don't think lighter yarn would be neccesery.
