It is so fun! I really like their outfits and expressions! Your style, quite cartoony, yet not caricatural, is very fitting for this meme. Also, nice framing of the picture.
But I really like your Amy! She's very cute - they kept overdoing her make-up in the last series, so she is not the easiest to get right.

Ahh thank you! I try to sort of straddle the border between classic animation styles and realism... Disney and Hanna-Barbera are probably my biggest influences. Thank you so much!
Thank you! One would think she would be fairly easy, since Karen Gillan is probably a supermodel in another life, but good Lord I can't seem to get her face satisfactorily. I did once in the margin of my history notes beside a particularly spectacular Rory, but hey! What are notes for if not to doodle fantastic things?

Classic animation! I knew it reminded me of something. And Disney is unavoidable. I am not familiar with Hanna-Barbera though. I personally was vividly impressed as a child by Carl Barks and Don Rosa's sense of the detail and Gustave DorΓ©.
Beautiful face are not always easy. Rory is quite a challenge too, because he has those big, clear eyes that are very characteristic and if you don't get them right...

Disney is just such a big part of common childhood now... Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera were the original creators of Scooby Doo, the Flintstones, Yogi Bear, etc., etc. I'm kind of a Scooby geek, even now, so that style influenced me a lot too. *goes to look up the names you mentioned* Oh! Yes! I can see Barks and Rosa's influence; the little things are very painstakingly drawn in both yours and their works. From what I can see here of Dore's works, that too is there - the classical beauty and use of contours.
Oh, tell me about it! And that sometimes-stubble he has... *sigh* At least he has a fairly easy body to draw - skinny and not overly muscled. Mostly straight lines!

Hey, even professional comicbook artists say Karen Gillan's face is so smooth & youthful, it's difficult to capture a proper likeness. But you've done well here.
PS: She was indeed a model several years before being cast as Amy.

Some of the DW graphic novels certainly drew Amy in a variety of interesting outfits...!
Glorious Gillan, more like. "Candid or photoshoot?" is a common question when looking at any picture of Karen!

Good Lord, yes. There's one where she's in some weird sort of pink dress? I don't even know what it was...
For real. I mean come on, Karen. Life is not a photo shoot. I do not understand how to beautiful. *sigh*
