OH man, Gingy. I haven't been able to eat gingerbread since, for fear of cakey doom and torture.
I didn't think anyone would ever be able to capture the bizarre idea of a psychopathic gingerbread cookie like the books do...but somehow you've done it, and fantastically at that.
Now if you'll pardon me, I'll be hiding in my cake-proof panic room.

I took inspiration from Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs. When I was reading about the Gingerbread Man in the Big Over Easy, that's who I thought of immediately.

The Gingerbread Man scared me a lot in this book. I think you've captured that well. I shall never read this fairy tale the same way again.

You should read the sequel to this book called "The Fourth Bear." The main villain is the Gingerbread Man, and he is alot scarier.
