Description 35mm Kodak film
A polytrichum moss with sporophytes (orange).

My bf said this photo reminded him of a planet in Star Wars, lol. so that's what I'm naming it, Felucia. It sounds fitting to me.

As always, your comments are welcome and appreciated! please share your thoughts with me.

Nope, the they get taken down after they have been up for at least a day. This is so I can continue with getting more up and people do not continue to vote on old polls.
It was up for a good 2 days at least. I remember there being one comment on yours but I did not read it myself, been a bit busy with things around home. Sorry I could not be of more help.

Great image Madeline! Excellent shallow DOF. Really like the fuzzy green against the sharp shape of the orange...kind of a wonderland! Don't know much about the SW planet, but your right about the name fitting! Thanks

Thanks Brian
I took another picture of this moss with the green in focus but I didn't like it nearly as much. Well, apparently Felcuia is really sci-fi with like crazy plants. I just thought it sounded rather Thumbelina-esque! lol Thanks for looking and commenting

I think those are the reproductive organs of the green things, which I think are a moss of some type. Here:
