Now I hope this will shut the "Twilight" fans the hell up because I am getting so fucking sick of "Team Edward" this, and "Team Jacob" that, and all of the teen and 20-something orgasms that the two guys leave behind.

Vampires are portrayed either as a suave, sexy, handsome gentleman with an unquenchable bloodlust (Braham Stoker's "Dracula"), a sensual mesmerizing lesbian princess with a tight hot little body ("The Blood Spattered Bride"), a hideous parasitic ugly-ass son of a bitch ("Nosferatu"), a good-guy police officer ("Forever Knight"), a very polite well-spoken host who doesn't appear to be who he is ("Dracula"), or an old geezer who can go out in the daylight and spends alot of time in his basement doing inventions ("The Munsters")...

But now, instead of having traditional vampires that have been forever immortalized in the pages of literature by Braham Stoker, and the inspiration behind Dracula himself-- the original Romanian prince of darkness Vlad the Impaler, vampires on the screen have been reduced from murdering nocturnal blood-suckers to pieces of eye candy to desperate, lonely insecure girls who would much rather drool over them than be scared to death of them.
