Been working on 's commission, and this is the final result!I was given the pleasure to play a little with the art style, and decided to take inspiration from two artists I admire a lot: Rimebane and Hong Soon Sang, from Tumblr.
The thing I have found so fascinating with Hong's art style, is how incredibly minimalistic his style is. It has no light sources, and only just a tiny bit of shadow - yet it's just enough to define the shape.
The same goes to Rimebane, and what this artist does, is to ply with the channels, to create a tiny bit of 3 Dimensional effect by pushing the channel layers, to make the figure "pop" from the canvas.

It looks great! It almost looks like it's a screenshot from a an animation movie (I can't recall the exact style I've seen before right now, but I'll be sure to tell you if I find out which one!)
One suggestion, if you feel like experimenting: If you are trying to make her glowing eyes more... glowy (?) then you should try an extra layer on top with a lighter green, almost white with a soft air brush or something similar at a lower opacity, just to give it a little more spark. Feel free to ignore

Art like this really makes me regret not getting into WoW (but then again it went downhill I believe after Lich King).

I agree that there are a ton of other games that are a lot more entertaining than World of Warcraft. The reason I play it these days isn't for the game play though, but for the content I can create as a storyteller and roleplayer. Not to mention the social aspect it's developed. Several times I've tried other MMOs with friends - yet everyone always returns to this silly old game. There's nothing to do about it!
